Well, today I….

Hold on, let me get you up to date.

What has gone on before: Basically, I installed Drupal 6.4 with CCK and a few other modules.  Got myself acquainted with content types and taxonomies (um… like the kind of acquainted (aquainted?) you get with the guy who delivers your pizza, so.. not very, but I recognize him).  Got myself to the point where I needed to think about design.  So I did.

Back to drupal with some xhtml to base a page.tpl.php file on.  One week of customizing and I got it going.  So back to content creation and scheming out my nav and content organization.  I have concluded:

Spending lots of time planning will save me much headache in the near future.

I hope I’m right.

Today: I go to create a content type.  I had updated CCK and Drupal core to 6.5 with no problems (or so I thought).  Today I updated the Date Module with no problems (or so I thought).  When I went to define some new fields for my new content type, I got hit with this:

  • warning: include(./sites/default/modules/cck/theme/content-admin-field-overview-form.tpl.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/drupal/includes/theme.inc on line 972.
  • warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘./sites/default/modules/cck/theme/content-admin-field-overview-form.tpl.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/Applications/MAMP/bin/php5/lib/php’) in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/drupal/includes/theme.inc on line 972.

So it’s back to the drawing board for me.

Action:

  1. Reinstalling Drupal and CCK (latest versions) from scratch, including wiping the database.
  2. Backing up my themes.
  3. Proceeding to content type definition to see if CCK is at fault, or if my upgrade was faulty

Wish me luck :s
